I've discontinued most of my substacks. No time to read them. But yours stays. Great work.

Kaity, this subject struck and touched a deep chord within me, for 'integrity' is a quality I highly value; because to answer the question you posed in your commentary, it IS worth having and living by! It is a quality I admire in those who I love and am honored to call friends, and is the gauge I use in trusting and respecting someone.

And though you and I have never met or know each other personally, I know you possess it, because of your honesty, morality, character, goodness, and virtues. Therefore, I place you in the same group of those I have admiration, trust, and respect for.

Sadly though, as you pointed out, many people lose or sacrifice their integrity when fame, attention, influence, corruption, threats, and power cloud their focus on maintaining truth due to a desire to achieve a personally set goal.

Thankfully, because of your integrity, you remain unbiased, steady, and focused, seeking and obtaining facts over insinuation, while applying critical thinking before sharing your thoughts and opinion.

So thank you, Defender, for the integrity you possess, because we need a strong and reasonable voice to help us navigate through the plethora of data launched at us from multiple sources, many of which contain deceptive information they skillfully package as facts.
